Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and record payroll-related entries from the UKG payroll system into cloud-based accounting/ERP system
- Prepare detailed payroll job cost allocations
- Reconcile payroll job cost entries to the general ledger
- Maintain general ledger mappings between UKG and the ERP system
- Maintain trade codes and labor charge rates within the ERP system
- Record monthly and annual job cost allocation entries related to payroll tax adjustments
- Audit employee timesheets for accuracy
- Collaborate with the payroll team to maintain accurate tax locations and compliance
- Maintain employee data interface between UKG and ERP system
- Monitor shared payroll and accounting inboxes for issue resolution
- Review vendor invoices for proper coding
- Processes internal accounts payable transactions
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 year accounting experience in the construction industry, or 2 years related experience
- Proficient computer skills including the ability to utilize a cloud-based integrated accounting system
- Complex Excel spreadsheets, word processing and e-mail applications
- CMIC experience or other construction cloud-based software knowledge a plus
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to solve problems and comprehensive knowledge of GAAP
- High degree of professional integrity
