About the role
- Electrical and Energy Projects Engineer providing support to UK and Ireland sites for electrical compliance and sustainability initiatives. Leading various projects for efficiency and safety improvements.
Responsibilities
- Provide electrical engineering support to all UK and Ireland sites
- Ensure full electrical compliance across all sites
- Function as the single point of contact for management of High Voltage and Low Voltage infrastructure
- Lead electrical, automation and sustainability projects
- Support site infrastructure, maintenance and development plans
- Monitor electrical energy consumption and identify opportunities for improvement
- Operate as a sustainability champion, sharing energy saving best practices
Requirements
- Experience within electrical engineering and project management
- Strong stakeholder management skills developed through multi-site operations experience and simultaneous project management
- Knowledge of the Electricity at Work Act 1989
- Experience ensuring electrical compliance and assuming ultimate technical responsibility
- Passion to lead electrical, automation and sustainability projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with AutoCAD and MS Project is desirable
