Requirements
- Diploma or 3 years of experience in developing capabilities for mono- or multidisciplinary optimisations for Overall Aircraft Design with high-fidelity methods
- Mastering the end-to-end 3D aerodynamic simulation process from shape parameterization, simulation execution with Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes simulations to post-processing
- Familiarity with MDAO environments such as GEMSEO, openMDAO or modelCenter
- Proficiency in Design of Experiment, Gradient-based and Gradient-free optimization techniques to evaluate design trade-offs
- Advanced surrogate modeling techniques
- Good knowledge on Overall Aircraft Design with understanding of aircraft sizing, weight estimation, and performance constraints.
- Proficiency in Python.
