Senior Process Engineer conducting optimization studies and design in process engineering for KBR. Involved in various projects including LNG, refinery, and petrochemical processes focused on international standards.
Responsibilities
Conduct Process engineering and design, including process configuration and optimization studies
Perform Process simulations, prepare Process/Utility Flow Diagrams, Heat and Material Balance, and Utility Balances
Create Piping and Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
Prepare datasheets for process equipment and instruments
Perform process calculations for equipment sizing and line hydraulics
Generate equipment list
Conduct relief and blowdown studies, analyze relief load scenarios and calculate flare network requirements
Create Process design philosophies and operating guides
Provide input and collaborate with all disciplines during Concept Studies, Pre-FEED and FEED work
Participate in safety and risk sessions such as: HAZID / HAZOP Cause & Effect (process inputs) Relief load cases for flare / vent systems Input to QRA / ALARP / FERA (process scenarios)
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
At least 8 years of relevant process engineering design experience
Possess relevant experience working on Feasibility Study/ Pre-FEED/ FEED projects with reputed International clients
Experience in Onshore (LNG, power, CCS, refinery, petrochemical, bio-fuels, renewable, low carbon fuels) and Offshore projects
Shall be well conversant with International Industry Codes such as API, European Codes, ASME, and relevant software and tools.
Possess good communication & coordination skills
Leadership experience in managing process teams for Hydrocarbon projects
