Our Executive Operations team includes Executive Business Partners who serve as trusted advisors and collaborators to OpenAI's executives and leaders, focused on strong communication and operational excellence across teams.
With a focus on elevating the impact and efficiency of leadership, we anticipate needs, streamline processes, and provide comprehensive support to ensure our executives can focus on high-impact initiatives.
We play a pivotal role in driving success and achieving key milestones by cultivating strong relationships and leveraging our deep understanding of business objectives.
The Executive Business Partner will be a proactive partner to an executive operating at the intersection of partnerships, culture, and global influence.
This role manages complex scheduling, coordinates high-profile engagements, and supports a fast-moving, externally-facing portfolio.
This role requires exceptional judgment and discretion, particularly in environments involving public figures, high-visibility partners, and sensitive engagements.
Requirements
Background in fast-paced or hypergrowth environments (tech, media, entertainment, or adjacent industries)
Have 7+ years experience in a cross-functional executive assistant role or similar support function.
Experience supporting executives in partnerships, communications, or culturally influential spaces
Exposure to high-visibility environments involving public figures or external stakeholders
Strong operator who can build structure in ambiguity
Exceptional judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information and relationships
Expert at managing complex calendars and travel tied to external engagements
Detail-oriented with strong ownership and follow-through
Clear communicator across internal and external audiences
Independent, proactive, and collaborative
Able to maintain clarity and calm in a dynamic environment.
