Responsibilities
You focus on sales, market share growth, and sales tracking to achieve your assigned territory sales quota.
You continuously evaluate market trends and gather competitive intelligence to influence regional sales growth, profitability, and future product potential.
You coordinate product demonstrations, evaluations, and proof-of-concept demos together with the Technical Services Department.
You provide sales and product training for Riedel’s resellers and coordinate end-user training sessions such as “Riedel Tuesday.”
You sell to end users and determine, based on customer preference, whether orders are fulfilled directly or through partners.
You lead sales presentations with customers and channel partners and meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.
You track your sales pipeline, bookings, and performance metrics against quota, leveraging strategic relationships and business partnerships to drive revenue.
You represent Riedel at regional trade shows and manage, develop, and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders.
You proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs and coordinate internal teams, including support, service, and management resources, to meet expectations.
You align corporate resources, including technical, service, and support teams, to achieve shared customer objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a comparable combination of business and technology
5+ years of proven experience in a relevant market field, ideally broadcast and entertainment (Pro-)Audio/Video market and/or live production
Relevant and proven system sales experience in manufacturing and system integration
Understanding of the demands of the Broadcast, Entertainment, and other Riedel markets
Experience working with upscale companies, venues, and clients
Strong presentation and communication skills, verbal and written
Ability to communicate and share information effectively with sales management, marketing, sales operations, and technical services
Proficiency with database management tools such as Salesforce
Strong team-player mentality suitable for an international, medium-sized company environment
Cross-domain thinking and willingness to collaborate closely with other functions using excellent communication skills.
