Event Technician executing motorsport projects worldwide for RIEDEL Communications. Setting up communication systems and troubleshooting technical issues at live events while coordinating with event planners.
Responsibilities
You plan, prepare, and execute motorsport projects worldwide.
You set up, configure, and maintain analog and digital radio communication systems, as well as wireless and wired intercom and video systems.
You deploy and manage small-to-mid-scale IT systems and diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues at the module level, both trackside and on-site with customers.
You document technical setups, project activities, and configurations, providing technical advice, feedback, and recommendations.
You keep an overview of equipment and manage the onsite inventory.
You effectively coordinate and work closely with event planners and racing teams in a dynamic and diverse environment.
Requirements
Advanced-level technical, operational, and troubleshooting knowledge to support equipment and requirements for events of various scales
Successfully completed technical training (e.g., mechatronics, event technology, electronics, IT, or communication electronics)
Strong expertise and enthusiasm for radio, intercom, audio, and IT technologies
Experience in motorsports, event technology, or broadcasting is a plus
High willingness to travel frequently and flexibility to participate in high-profile racing events
Passion for end-to-end project execution and problem-solving
Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus
Valid driver’s license and authorization to legally work in the US.
