About the role
- Payroll Specialist responsible for timely and accurate payroll processes for multiple clients. Collaborating with clients and maintaining records to provide excellent service and resolve issues.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with client representatives and other Payroll Specialists to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Ensure accurate data entry into payroll systems for timely payments.
- Maintain payroll records for multiple clients with accuracy and excellent customer service.
- Process payroll-related matters and client-specific payroll reports.
- Resolve client and system problems.
- Establish positive working relationships with clients and coworkers.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- FPC or CPP preferred
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a Specialist II, or ability to demonstrate mastery of Specialist II functions
- Vast knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to wage and hour, wage garnishments and taxes
- Experience providing multi-state/multi-payroll service for large client groups.
- Advanced PrismHR and/or iSolved system experience is preferred.
