About the role
- Operations Assistant supporting the One80 Marine operations team by managing projects and reports. Collaborating across teams to enhance efficiency and ensure operational goals are met.
Responsibilities
- Assist with projects, workflow improvements, and cross-department initiatives to enhance efficiency.
- Perform data entry tasks and assist in preparing Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports, special projects, and other documents to support operational and underwriting decision making.
- Proofread and correct reports, presentations, and client-facing materials.
- Organize meetings with internal and external stakeholders, prepare and distribute agendas, take notes and create follow up tasks, as needed.
- Help establish and track project deadlines, coordinate schedules, etc. to help prevent oversights and delays.
- Maintain accurate and clear records, update databases, track key performance indicators and ensure the integrity of data to support informed decision-making and efficient workflows.
- Work closely with team members and management to provide timely support and communication.
- Support special projects and ad hoc assignments as directed by management.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or at least two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office, including Excel (pivot tables and formulas).
- Ability to analyze and interpret data with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Desire and ability to continue professional development through training, courses, or certifications.
