Founders Associate supporting growth and sales at a digital health startup in Dortmund. Working closely with founders on outbound sales, operations, and customer engagement.
Responsibilities
Growth & Outbound Sales (approx. 50–70%): Prospecting & pipeline: You identify target companies (with an on-site company cafeteria) and the appropriate contacts (BGM / Corporate Health / HR / Benefits) and systematically build a pipeline (LinkedIn, email, phone).
Discovery & Qualification: You conduct initial conversations, clarify needs, and verify the key prerequisites (e.g., on-site company cafeteria available, digital menu data accessible, internal driver such as a Health Manager/BGM).
Meeting Scheduling & Preparation: You organize qualified meetings/demos and prepare clean handovers — closing is handled by the co-founder.
CRM & Learnings: You document activities in HubSpot, keep data clean, and help continuously improve messaging, playbooks, and KPIs.
Founder Support & Operations (approx. 30–50%): Events, trade shows & go-lives: You support planning and execution — from on-site lead handling to follow-up in the CRM.
Day-to-day Operations: You relieve the co-founder on selected topics and ensure tasks reliably cross the finish line.
Documentation & Content: You update sales and investor materials, prepare content, and extract insights from customer projects (e.g., updates, short decks, learnings).
Organization & Planning: You coordinate (team) events, business trips, and internal processes.
Ops & Automation: You document processes, standardize and optimize them (e.g., templates, CRM flows, small automations), pursuing a “less manual — more scalable” approach.
Requirements
Some hands-on experience in sales / sales development / customer outreach / operations / project work (B2B is a plus).
Strong communicator: you listen well and enjoy engaging with people.
Hands-on, structured and reliable — you get things done.
Enjoy variety: sometimes outbound, sometimes projects, sometimes organization — while keeping an overview.
Interest in topics around food & health.
Motivated to grow with an early-stage startup and take on responsibility.
Familiarity or close ties to HR / BGM (occupational health management) / Corporate Health / Benefits or HR-Tech.
Experience with CRM & digital tools (HubSpot preferred).
Initial experience with automation/no-code (e.g., Zapier/Make) or process design.
Event / trade-show experience.
