About the role
- Legal Counsel providing strategic legal advice and contract management for one of Europe's leading design brands. Engaging in various legal matters and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice to executive management and business departments on all corporate legal matters.
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts (supplier, distribution, service, employment, lease and cooperation agreements).
- Provide legal support for international business activities and assistance with IP, trademark and design law.
- Ensure compliance, data protection and regulatory requirements are met.
- Support corporate law matters, e.g., shareholder resolutions and corporate governance.
- Manage and coordinate external law firms and contribute to due diligence and sales processes.
- Develop and optimize internal legal processes, and provide training and awareness for employees.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with full legal qualification and 3–6 years' professional experience, preferably in contract and corporate law.
- Experience in IP, trademark and design law is an advantage.
- Confident in the legal assessment and approval of contracts.
- Strong ability to assert positions and to advise internal departments.
- Structured, analytical working style and proactive risk management.
- Excellent German and English language skills.
