About the role
- Oracle Developer/Administrator developing and maintaining Oracle APEX applications for employee benefits administration. Collaborating in a hybrid environment with strong focus on technical solutions and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications in Oracle APEX, PL/SQL & JavaScript.
- Develop database-driven solutions and RESTful API integrations.
- Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.
- Document software components to ensure long-term maintainability.
- Support database administration including monitoring, backup/recovery, patching, and performance tuning.
- Serve as backup to the Senior DBA when required.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL and database development and administration
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 3-5 years of experience; OR associate’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Oracle APEX UI development, JavaScript, AJAX, RESTful APIs & foundational knowledge of Oracle database administration concepts
- Strong PL/SQL and SQL coding, including the ability to write & troubleshoot complex queries & stored procedures
- Analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems
- Clear & effective communicator with strong interpersonal relationship skills.
