About the role
- Developer responsible for both front and back-end development of websites and online systems. Seeking an experienced candidate to join Zeno's Web & Technology Development team in Kuala Lumpur.
Responsibilities
- Actively involved in design, development, and deployment of projects.
- Developing and maintaining the websites and online system.
- Convert the designs into coding and ensure the website or the online system is working well in good UI/UX, responsiveness and features.
- Understand technical and business requirements.
- Manage and resolve technical issues for deployed applications.
- Strong self-discipline and responsibility in managing time and completing assigned tasks.
- Strong reasoning and critical-thinking skills with problem-solving techniques.
- Good communication skills to liaise with project managers and/or teammates to ensure work is efficiently and effectively delivered to clients.
- Carry out research on new technology to meet business needs.
- Have a positive attitude with passion to move forward in career.
- Proactive, and a good team player to support the team.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of website and web application development experience, able to handle both front & back-end development and database architecture.
- A Bachelor's degree in CIS (or equivalent).
- Experience with Content Management Solutions especially WordPress including setup and customization.
- Required skills: PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Experience in using PHP framework, especially Laravel 8 and above.
- Experience in using CSS framework, especially Bootstrap.
- Experience in developing and integrating APIs.
- Experience in using JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, Node.js is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Linux Ubuntu, Red Hat server hosting environments.
- Experience with Apache, Nginx, SVN or git, and MySQL.
- Open to learning and picking up AI-related skill sets and techniques including subset - NLP. Understand the architecture of generative AI tools such as ChatGPT.
- Open to learning and picking up developing AR or VR related skill sets for web and social media.
