- HR Payroll Manager overseeing payroll of the people team in a biotech startup. Responsible for compliance, employee lifecycle processes, and HR project support.
Responsibilities
- Eigenverantwortliche Vorbereitung und Durchführung der monatlichen (internationalen) Lohn- und Gehaltsabrechnung unter Einhaltung aktueller steuer- und sozialversicherungsrechtlicher Vorschriften, inklusive aller Folgeaktivitäten
- Steuerung der Kommunikation und Koordination abrechnungsrelevanter Themen mit unserem Employer of Record
- Eigenständige Abwicklung des gesetzlichen Melde-, Berichts- und Bescheinigungswesens sowie Korrespondenz mit Krankenkassen und Behörden
- Erstellung und Verwaltung personalrelevanter Dokumente (z. B. Vertragsänderungen, NDAs, etc.) sowie Betreuung und Unterstützung spezifischer Prozesse entlang des Employee Life Cycles
- Zentraler Ansprechpartner für Mitarbeitende in allen Fragen zum Sozialversicherungs- und Lohnsteuerrecht
- Unterstützung bei externen Prüfungen (Lohnsteuer/Sozialversicherung) und Jahresabschlussarbeiten
- Mitwirkung an HR-Projekten und Unterstützung bei der Optimierung von HR-Prozessen
Requirements
- Abgeschlossenes Studium oder Ausbildung im Bereich Betriebswirtschaft, Personalwesen oder einem verwandten Feld; eine Zusatzqualifikation als Lohn- und Gehaltsbuchhalter ist von Vorteil
- Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in der deutschen Entgeltabrechnung. Erfahrungen mit internationaler Entgeltabrechnung sind von Vorteil
- Umfangreiche Kenntnisse im deutschen Arbeits-, Sozialversicherungs- und Steuerrecht
- Fundiertes Verständnis des gesamten Employee Life Cycles
- Sicherer Umgang mit gängiger Abrechnungssoftware (z. B. DATEV, Personio)
- Hohes Maß an Zuverlässigkeit und eine ausgeprägte Serviceorientierung
- Fließende Deutschkenntnisse sowie verhandlungssicheres Englisch in Wort und Schrift.
