About the role
- Engineering Manager leading Product Engineering team in London at nPlan. Overseeing development and mentoring engineers while scaling in a high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead our Product Engineering team in London, reporting to our CTO.
- Work closely with our VP of Product and senior engineers within the department.
- Contribute to the development of the department and our products.
- Guide engineers from Frontend to Infrastructure in ensuring our capabilities and capacities are constantly growing.
- Mentor and grow senior engineers, unblock hard problems, and push the Engineering department by achieving ambitious objectives and high standards of performance.
Requirements
- Proven track record of managing 10+ engineers (ideally across multiple disciplines) in a high-growth, product-centric environment.
- Comfortable scaling teams, systems and processes towards Series C.
- A track record of governing technical debt whilst executing on software delivery at pace.
- A background in requirements-driven architecture and systems design in the cloud.
