Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional squad to solve complex problems in the AI & Upskilling market.
- Shape the engine of our scale with a focus on inclusive teams as the most creative ones.
- Leverage AI-powered tools and lean methodologies to empower your team to move fast and sustainably deliver exceptional quality.
- Lead within Learning Product Group, Product Fundamentals Group, or Foundations Group depending on your strengths and interests.
- Partner with Product and Design to identify user behaviours and translate business goals into technical execution.
- Advocate for best practices and help mature engineering processes within our engineering leadership community.

- Delivery & Quality: You will balance shipping fast with paying down technical debt, ensuring your team delivers value consistently without burning out.
- Architectural Excellence: Demonstrate a "hands-on" approach to system design, ensuring technical output meets the rigorous standards expected of a Senior SWE lead.
- People (Coach & Sponsor): Responsible for the health and happiness of your team. Run performance reviews, act as a career coach, identifying opportunities for promotion and sponsorship for engineers of all backgrounds.
- Processes (Enable & Unblock): Foster an agile environment prioritising learning over perfection; protect your team’s focus time, ensuring a balance between speed of delivery and engineering excellence.
- Architecture (System Design & Strategy): Hands-on contributor to the architectural lifecycle from whiteboarding distributed systems to identifying performance bottlenecks; influence the technical roadmap ensuring scalability and reliability.
