Responsibilities
Ensure system compliance to electromagnetic environmental effects and nuclear hardness requirements from individual components to the operational weapon system
Act as the technical liaison between internal and external organizations
Develop hardening approaches, test plans, test conduct, and analyses showing compliance of avionics
Perform testing, data analysis, and reporting for in-house test activities
Develop test software/hardware
Lead the evaluation of design drawings to verify and correct system design to standards
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline and 8 years of relevant experience OR; 6 years of experience with a Master’s Degree OR; 3 years of experience with PhD in STEM discipline
Understanding of Electromagnetic Environmental Effects or Nuclear Hardness impacts in hardware and assemblies within aircraft
Active DoD Secret clearance
Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR)
