About the role
- Legal Counsel managing complex contracts and legal consultations for onshore wind energy projects in Germany and Eastern Europe. Collaborating with various business units to ensure legal compliance throughout project cycles.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate complex contracts for onshore wind energy projects in Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe
- Advise internal business units on legal matters across the entire project lifecycle
- Support corporate law matters and take responsibility for corporate housekeeping tasks
- Assist with litigation, particularly warranty/defects disputes
- Conduct internal trainings on relevant legal topics
- Assess legal risks and develop practical, business-oriented solutions for project and commercial teams
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer (Volljurist) with an above‑average degree or equivalent qualification within the EEA
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a law firm or an in‑house legal department
- Business‑fluent English and an interest in international project structures
- Understanding of the technical and commercial aspects of onshore wind energy
- Strong sense of responsibility, team spirit and intercultural competence
- Ability to present complex legal issues clearly and to provide practical, actionable guidance
