- Senior Legal Counsel advising commercial, procurement, and operations teams at PCI Pharma Services. Responsible for drafting, negotiating, and managing complex commercial contracts with business units.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted legal advisor to commercial, procurement, and operational teams
- Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of commercial agreements
- Act as a strategic legal partner to Sales/Business Development, Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams
- Provide practical, solution‑oriented legal advice
- Maintain and continuously improve contract templates, playbooks, fallback positions, and negotiation guidelines
- Support introduction and use of AI tools to drive speed, consistency and efficiency in legal contracting
- Identify and escalate legal, regulatory, and commercial risks associated with contracts
- Mentor junior attorneys and contract professionals, as applicable
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; eligible for in‑house practice
- 6–10+ years of relevant legal experience
- Significant experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts
- Combination of law firm and in‑house experience preferred
- Experience supporting sales/business development, procurement and operations teams in a regulated, multi‑site, or global organization preferred
- Deep expertise in contract law and commercial negotiations
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate legal risk into practical guidance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Collaborative, pragmatic, and solutions‑focused approach
