About the role
- Operational Excellence Analyst driving process improvement initiatives at Nitro, a chemical specialty producer with global operations and a commitment to sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Implement the Operational Excellence Program;
- Lead process improvement projects focused on cost reduction, productivity increases, and quality improvement;
- Analyze and map operational processes, identify improvement opportunities, and propose innovative solutions for optimization;
- Monitor and manage performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress of operational excellence initiatives;
- Develop and implement action plans for continuous improvement and ensure they are followed in line with organizational needs and strategies;
- Facilitate internal workshops and training on continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, among others);
- Collaborate with different areas of the organization to promote process integration and align results;
- Prepare and monitor operational performance reports, analyze data, and propose data-driven solutions;
- Serve as a technical reference/subject-matter expert for the team regarding process management best practices and improvement tools;
- Perform critical analysis of processes and propose restructuring of workflows when necessary, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic guidelines.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Production, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields;
- Green Belt certification and knowledge of Lean methodologies;
- Postgraduate degree/MBA in project or process management will be considered a differential;
- Experience in process improvement, quality, maintenance, or operations.
