About the role
- Infrastructure/Systems Administrator supporting development and test environments for CACI. Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving infrastructure issues, with emphasis on embedded operating systems.
Responsibilities
- Provides support for Linux/Unix, Windows, and other embedded operating systems and applications
- Responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving IT hardware and software infrastructure issues
- Provides system administration for assigned on-prem and/or cloud infrastructure
- Applies security patches and operating system or application upgrades
- Supports new infrastructure projects
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of related systems administration experience
- Technical and industry experience in Linux or Windows environments
- Minimum of 1 year experience providing Tier 1 or Tier 2 helpdesk/desktop support
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Experience in using, maintaining, and troubleshooting automation tools such as PowerShell/shell scripts, Puppet, Ansible, and/or Cron jobs
