About the role
- Test Developer specializing in Cyber Security at NewTec, designing test cases and improving product resilience against cyber threats.
Responsibilities
- You plan, design and develop test cases at all test levels — from unit and integration to system tests — and derive them from the requirements.
- In security testing you apply your knowledge in targeted areas such as threat mitigation, vulnerability analysis and penetration testing, contributing to thorough attacker and threat analyses.
- You create and maintain test environments, work with CI concepts for test automation and optimize existing processes.
- You continuously expand your security expertise through training, mentoring and engaging security projects.
Requirements
- Ideally, you have a completed technical degree, e.g. in Enterprise and IT Security, (Technical) Computer Science, Medical Technology, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or Physics — or you hold an equivalent qualification.
- You have at least two years of professional experience in testing.
- Experience in programming and in model-based or object-oriented software development (UML, C/C++/Rust) is an advantage and will facilitate your entry.
- You tackle challenges in a structured way; solution-oriented, pragmatic communication and strong teamwork are among your strengths.
- Very good communication skills in German and English round off your profile.
