Responsibilities
Drive the evolution of discovery and engagement experiences for Podcasts and other emerging content types as Netflix's offering grows.
Partner with cross-functional teams to set the vision and conceive of discovery experiences, features and capabilities that delight members.
Define and convert those concepts into well-scoped project roadmaps, prioritize among competing efforts, and ensure execution at a high level.
Partner across the PM community to ensure the vision and strategy for podcasts fit seamlessly into the bigger picture.
Serve as the "connective tissue" that ensures product surface evolves in lockstep with content strategy.
Define product strategy, audience needs, roadmap, and experimentation approach for diverse content types.
Foster a collaborative approach when translating Podcast & New Content Exploration goals into product strategy.
Requirements
7+ years of experience developing consumer products and features
Experience working on podcast streaming products at scale, and a great understanding of the podcast lifecycle
Ability to function as the E2E owner of the product development life cycle from inception through planning to launch
Demonstrated leadership of a space, working effectively across organizations to drive alignment
Experience with A/B testing, and strong business acumen with proficiency in identifying, tracking and acting upon metrics, designing tests, and collaborating with data science partners
Very high attention to detail, with an ability to connect the smallest experience elements to the big picture goals at the company and team level
Excellent data-informed judgment, and ability to leverage data in service of telling the right story, not the other way around
Great balance of being collaborative and open to alternative views while being decisive and clearly communicating vision
