About the role
- Freelance TD/Director overseeing the strategic planning and execution of live sports productions at NEP Group in Miami, FL. Must work flexible hours on a per game basis.
Responsibilities
- Ability to TD and/or Direct live sports productions
- Ability to conduct camera meetings for live sports productions and delegate specific camera roles within a live production
- Setup and test multiple switchers throughout the week in advance of the live production
- Work with producers during the week to prepare content for broadcasts
- Ability to multitask and juggle multiple productions from a pre-production standpoint simultaneously
- Work with on air talent to discuss ideas and content for broadcasts
- Work live broadcasts in a control room setting as a TD and/or director as needed
- Coordinate with internal staff and clients on sponsored elements and approvals
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required
- 2-3 years experience working in a live broadcast environment
- Proficient in all switchers, specifically Ross Carbonite
- Working knowledge in Adobe Suite, specifically Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop
- Willing and able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends and holidays
- An avid sports fan, specifically soccer
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
