Responsibilities
Responsible for designing highway pavements and preparing project designs, including traffic analysis and material selection, to meet the specific needs of Motiva Rodovias units;
Prepare preliminary cost estimates for pavement projects by quantifying work items and updating regional unit market prices for each project;
Develop alternative design solutions for Motiva Rodovias units, proposing options that align with the business plan while maintaining quality;
Develop five-year pavement investment plans for Motiva Rodovias units by applying performance models to ensure compliance with the technical criteria established in concession contracts;
Improve the technical solutions presented to Motiva Rodovias units by applying innovative pavement design techniques;
Expand knowledge of the operating environment by researching and evaluating scenarios and trends for the application of sustainable techniques in pavement projects to support continuous improvement with quality;
Work integrally with Motiva Rodovias units by participating in technical meetings and discussions to better understand specific needs;
Provide support to pavement consultants and specialists by preparing scenarios and alternative project designs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering;
Experience with highway pavement projects;
Experience in the design of flexible and rigid pavements and in the calculation of the structural number (N);
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Elsym 5 or Medina systems;
Basic English proficiency;
Intermediate or advanced English and knowledge of PMBOK or MS Project (differential).
