Responsibilities
Build strong and collaborative relationships with clients to support their WHS outcomes
Provide clients and client executives with solutions to their WHS and risk management concerns
Analyse client needs through the use of data and analytics as well as listening to client needs
Recommend suitable strategies, approaches or options based on analysis
Contribute to proposals and project plans, including tender responses to varying levels of complexity based on client needs
Participate in projects and deliver against project plans including to scope, time and budget
Deliver written and verbal reports/advice that is technically accurate, timely and of the highest quality and professional standards
Requirements
Tertiary degree in Work Health and Safety or any relevant field (minimum Cert IV WHS and relevant experience will be considered)
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a dedicated WHS or related role is desirable – less experience in a related role will be considered
Thorough knowledge of WHS legislation and current issues in WHS
Understanding and application of risk management principles in the management of WHS hazards
Strong communication skills: active listening to clients, problem analysis, probing questions, clear explanation of WHS concepts, adapting style to diverse audiences, and building professional rapport.
Current drivers licence and ability for regional/interstate and overnight travel
Exemplar Global OHS auditor accreditation (desirable)
