About the role
- Consultant in Analytics & Survey Development at Mercer, focusing on AI and survey methodologies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and enhancement of Mercer’s survey methodologies
- Support the collection, validation, and analysis of survey data
- Apply AI-assisted techniques to improve data quality
- Collaborate with the Survey Production team and Corporate Governance advisors
- Conduct detailed data analyses and develop innovative perspectives
- Engage with survey participants and clients to provide expert support
- Prepare and present clear, actionable reports and recommendations
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives by researching emerging trends
Requirements
- Strong foundation in quantitative analysis, survey methodology, and data management, ideally supported by a Master’s degree in economics, statistics, finance, psychology, or related fields
- Proficiency with MS Excel required and working experience with SQL and R and/or Python is preferred
- Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics and automation (e.g., using approved GenAI tools for coding support, data preparation, summarization, and insight drafting) and ability to validate outputs critically
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets & translate findings into strategic insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and survey participants
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent English and strong German language skills (verbal and written)
