About the role
- PMO Analyst providing project management support for rigorous risk transformation initiatives at Mercer, based in Melbourne or Sydney.
Responsibilities
- Provide end to end project management support
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans ensuring all tasks, timelines and resource requirements are clearly communicated
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns throughout the project lifecycle, fostering strong relationships to ensure project success
- Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery, and work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans
- Provide regular status updates on project delivery status
- Maintain accurate project documentation aligned to project delivery framework
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including program managers and other project managers, to ensure alignment and effective communication across all project activities
Requirements
- Extensive PMO experience
- Strong understanding of project management and portfolio management methodologies
- High proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, Teams Planner)
- High proficiency in SharePoint
- Analytical and problem solving
- Ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders, including managers and executives, SMEs and consultants
- Practical knowledge of project delivery lifecycles, methodologies, and governance practices, as well as experience with Project Portfolio Management tools
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to tailor messages for different audiences and build constructive relationships at all levels
