PMO Analyst providing project management support for rigorous risk transformation initiatives at Mercer, based in Melbourne or Sydney.
Responsibilities
Provide end to end project management support
Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans ensuring all tasks, timelines and resource requirements are clearly communicated
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns throughout the project lifecycle, fostering strong relationships to ensure project success
Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery, and work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans
Provide regular status updates on project delivery status
Maintain accurate project documentation aligned to project delivery framework
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including program managers and other project managers, to ensure alignment and effective communication across all project activities
Requirements
Extensive PMO experience
Strong understanding of project management and portfolio management methodologies
High proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, Teams Planner)
High proficiency in SharePoint
Analytical and problem solving
Ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders, including managers and executives, SMEs and consultants
Practical knowledge of project delivery lifecycles, methodologies, and governance practices, as well as experience with Project Portfolio Management tools
Excellent communication skills with an ability to tailor messages for different audiences and build constructive relationships at all levels
