About the role
- Senior Manager, Environmental Compliance supporting environmental due diligence for CyrusOne’s U.S. data centers. Implementing procedures and providing expertise in compliance, permitting, and assessments.
Responsibilities
- Support environmental due diligence initiatives across U.S. data center portfolio
- Develop and implement standardized procedures, tools, and training programs for environmental due diligence and permitting
- Provide subject matter expertise on environmental assessments and permitting
- Partner with Design, Construction, Operations, and Legal teams to define and communicate environmental requirements
- Represent CyrusOne in external stakeholder engagements
- Track, interpret, and advise on changes to U.S. environmental regulations and policy
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in environmental permitting, compliance, and due diligence
- Strong working knowledge of environmental regulations
- Subject matter expertise in air quality and/or environmental noise
- Experience managing environmental permitting for data centers or other high-impact, mission-critical infrastructure
- Excellent technical writing, documentation, and reporting capabilities
- Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Comfortable presenting environmental risk, permitting strategies, and compliance considerations to executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- A relevant graduate degree or professional certification is a plus
