Responsibilities
- Experience in managing and developing complex mobile applications in Flutter (iOS or Android)
- Lead and manage a team of employees that are well versed in mobile app development using languages such as Kotlin, Swift, Objective C and Flutter
- Builds trust with leadership through consistent delivery and transparency, acting as a reliable resource for information and support
- Self-motivated with great written and oral communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with System and software architects to interpret, analyze product needs and guide the team through implementation
- Ability to coach developers on software development and provide constructive feedback to improve design and implementation
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills can identify root cause of complex problems and provide solutions
- Provide feedback to cross functional teams such as Systems Engineering, Human factors, Clinical, and verification teams to drive quality products
- Work closely with quality and systems teams to ensure the product quality
- Work in agile/scrum environment
- Strong technical contribution to Systems being build and guide the team through coding principles and enforce design reviews
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelors degree and minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience.
- Knowledge of mobile application security (Certificate pinning, TLS, SSO, etc.)
- Good understanding and experience working with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
- Experience coordinating with remote teams
- Experience working in a regulated industry
- Experience creating and maintaining documentation for software systems such as design documents, class diagrams, and sequence diagrams
