About the role
- Sr. Operations Manager facilitating technology support for US Oncology Network practices. Working with IT and management to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Work as a liaison between McKesson Technology and the Oncology Practice
- Provide support, solutions, and resources for the practices in the US Oncology Network
- Manage and maintain Lights-On operations for all assigned practices
- Facilitate IT communications with users at the oncology practices
- Develop and maintain a communication plan with each oncology practice’s IT Staff
- Provide regular status updates to the Director of IT Operations
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience
- Healthcare systems experience and demonstrated leadership skills
- Effective communication skills, particularly in difficult situations
- Experience leading a healthcare related IT functional area
- Subject matter expert knowledge of one or more IT building blocks including packaged software applications, software applications development, network, data centers, end user computing, telephony, mobility solutions, systems integration, reporting tools, etc.
- Previous team lead or supervisory experience
- ITIL4 Foundation certification preferred
- SAFe Agile experience preferred
