About the role
- Junior Data Scientist analyzing client data and developing predictive models for financial solutions at MAG. Collaborating on data analysis for strategic decisions and automating processes using Python.
Responsibilities
- Analyze client and prospect portfolio data, identifying patterns and segmentations across different profiles.
- Develop and implement predictive models based on behaviors recorded in systems.
- Clean and structure internal and external data, transforming information into knowledge to support decision-making.
- Conduct statistical studies and advanced data analyses to generate hypotheses that contribute to customer loyalty, retention, and acquisition.
- Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms based on opportunities identified in the data.
- Automate processes and analyses using Python.
- Prepare periodic qualitative and quantitative reports, presenting results clearly and concisely to support strategic decisions.
- Create presentations that effectively communicate model results and analytical findings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and either R or Python.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Previous experience in data analysis.
- Experience with Databricks.
- Experience in the insurance market.
- Proficiency in English.
