About the role
- Finance Transformation Manager leading finance transformation initiatives using automation and AI for efficiency. Driving program across finance, technology, and business collaboration in Sydney.
Responsibilities
- Lead a major transformation program across Finance and the business
- Use automation, AI and smarter processes to radically lift efficiency, insight and capability across the finance function
- Drive automation and AI use across the finance function
- Move the accounting function toward a continuous close and planning teams toward continuous forecasting
- Redesign procurement, accounts payable, receivables and credit processes to improve experience and efficiency
- Build smarter, self-service reporting and insights using Power BI, Fabric and modern data tools
Requirements
- Strong technical finance foundations (CPA, CA, CFA or equivalent) with deep systems knowledge
- Proven experience leading finance transformation, ERP, automation or AI-enabled initiatives
- Confidence working across finance, technology and business teams — and bringing them with you
- A structured, analytical approach with the ability to simplify complexity
- Strong project and change management capability, including vendor coordination
- Clear communication skills — especially when explaining technical ideas to non-technical audiences
- Curiosity, resilience and a genuine appetite for improving how things work
