About the role
- Property Manager leading operations and financial activities for commercial properties. Overseeing team activities, vendor relations, and tenant needs with a focus on client objectives.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that services are provided consistent with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards
- Coordinate and lead daily and long-term activities of the team
- Direct, review, and approve vendor invoice payments
- Prepare and deliver timely, accurate, informative reports and budgets
- Maintain oversight of contracted terms impacting financial performance
- Coordinate lease administration activities
- Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs
- Respond to tenant needs, ensuring problems are resolved promptly
- Direct sourcing and procurement activities
- Proactively collect rent and charges in accordance with lease terms
- Ensure monthly property inspections are performed
- Document emergency response plans
- Act as primary contact with property owners
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred; minimum of 3-5 years of related experience and/or training
- Real Estate License required where mandatory by local regulation
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel required
- Knowledge of Yardi or MRI and Kardin preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles
- Strong organizational skills that deliver timely results
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents
- Fundamental leadership experience or significant collaborative contributions
- Proven track record for delivering excellent internal and external customer service
