About the role
- Associate Director in Growth & Structured Finance helping to structure complex debt facilities for UK SME & Mid Corporate clients. Collaborating with a high performing team to enhance market presence.
Responsibilities
- Forming part of a team alongside the Directors for complex transactions, you will support in overseeing an efficient client, credit and diligence/legal process for successful deal completion through the in depth understanding of the client and the request.
- Assessing, structuring and leading on new business proposals for lower risk transactions with incremental support from Directors.
- Preparing and analysing financial models to a high standard, ensuring complete numeric accuracy, assumptions are stress tested, and ensuring risks are identified and understood.
- Collaborating closely with colleagues in the SME and Mid Corporate Relationship teams, supporting with upskilling and identification of opportunities both in the existing client base and in the external market.
- Growing market presence and relationships with debt advisors and the professional community to support origination activities.
Requirements
- Strong excel and financial modelling skills, including cashflow analysis and stress testing.
- Experience of optimally operating within the SME and/or Mid Corporate segment.
- Excellent written communication skills for producing concise, accurate credit papers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
- A proactive mindset with a strong appetite to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
