About the role

  • Project Manager overseeing full project life cycle at Liberty University, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring project delivery within scope and schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project execution throughout the full project life cycle to ensure adherence to defined scope, schedule, and resource constraints.
  • Develop and maintain a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and associated project planning artifacts.
  • Direct or coordinate activities of cross-functional project team members.
  • Prepare and deliver project status reports and performance updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement a stakeholder-informed communication plan tailored to project needs.
  • Adhere to Liberty University policies, representing the University in an exemplary and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders to support project goals.
  • Maintain and collaborate on roadmap planning for product or service portfolios.

Requirements

  • Mid-level technical experience; with transferable knowledge of project delivery tools, systems, or business processes.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience is required.
  • CAPM, CSM, or PSM I
  • 3-4+ years of project management or related professional experience is required.
