About the role
- SME Cross Domain Implementation Engineer Lead working with Department of War to enhance data and analytics capabilities across DoD. Designing secure data transfer solutions and leading technical teams for mission-critical projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cross domain technology solutions for secure data transfers between NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with system security standards
- Integrate cross domain solutions with existing infrastructure and applications
- Lead a team of technical experts, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance team performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with DoD RMF
- Develop and maintain documentation for cross domain solutions and processes
- Monitor and evaluate system performance, making recommendations for improvements
- Facilitate training sessions for team members and stakeholders on cross domain technologies
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in cross domain solutions and cybersecurity
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cross domain systems
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or higher from an accredited college or university OR offerings listed in DoD 8140 Training Repository OR GCFA or GCIA
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cross domain technology solutions
- Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing projects
- Strong understanding of DoD RMF and cybersecurity compliance requirements
- Experience with secure data transfer protocols and technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Certifications such as Security plus, IAT/IAM Level III
