About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead technical direction for a vertical slice team, owning systems end to end
- Remain hands-on with architecture, design, and production code where it adds most value
- Shape, review, and approve solution designs for a shared commercial platform
- Support and develop a team of engineers while maintaining high technical standards
- Ensuring the platform remains clean, scalable, and easy to work with as it grows.
- Work closely with Product to deliver revenue-critical features at scale
Requirements
- Strong background as a senior software engineer in an object-oriented language (.NET or similar)
- Proven experience leading technical design and architectural decisions
- Hands-on capability with production systems at scale and complex codebases
- Experience owning systems end to end, including databases and operational concerns
- Ability to balance individual contribution with team leadership and mentorship
- Cloud experience is desirable (AWS preferred)
