About the role
- Head of Systems leading Oracle Cloud Fusion development and governance for Barnet Council. Ensuring compliance, security, and data-driven decisions across finance and HR systems in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development, governance and continuous improvement of Oracle Cloud Fusion system
- Ensure the Oracle Cloud Fusion system delivers maximum value for the organisation
- Support robust financial and workforce management
- Enable data‑driven decision‑making across the council
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, IT colleagues, external suppliers and service leaders to ensure systems are secure, efficient, compliant and future‑ready
Requirements
- Membership of a CCAB body (preferably CIPFA) or equivalent professional experience
- Significant experience leading and maintaining a robust ERP control environment
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion or a comparable ERP suite
- Proven experience of systems integration, modernization and change management
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Experience leading teams, managing budgets and delivering complex projects
