Responsibilities
- Take full ownership and responsibility for all accounting and controlling tasks with a focus on HGB and IFRS
- Independently prepare, review and finalize financial reports (proven financial closing expertise is a must)
- Work closely with all departments to plan and ensure adherence to budgets, monitor financial processes and provide targeted advice to improve cost structures
- Lead and develop the finance team
- Develop and optimize financial processes and advise management on strategic financial matters
- Ensure and monitor compliance with financial standards and requirements across all processes
Requirements
- Several years of experience in accounting and controlling with solid knowledge of HGB and IFRS
- Proven expertise in financial statement closing
- Leadership experience and strong team management skills
- Experience in a fast-paced company, ideally in retail
- Business-fluent German and English, with excellent communication skills, particularly for liaison with Italy
