About the role
- Senior Production Support / DevOps Engineer supporting application reliability within Azure environments at Keyrus, a data consulting company with global presence.
Responsibilities
- Provide production support for business-critical applications, ensuring availability, performance, and reliability.
- Work closely with Java development teams to support application troubleshooting, including log analysis and root cause investigation.
- Support and monitor REST APIs and distributed application components.
- Operate and support applications deployed on Azure Kubernetes (AKS).
- Manage and support cloud services on Microsoft Azure, including: Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Server, Azure Static Web Apps, Blob Storage.
- Support Snowflake environments for data access and operational troubleshooting.
- Perform Unix/Linux operational tasks and environment-level troubleshooting.
- Execute and support DevOps processes, including deployments, releases, and environment validation.
- Implement and use monitoring and observability practices to proactively identify incidents.
- Handle incidents, service requests, and changes using ServiceNow.
- Manage batch processing and scheduling activities using Control-M.
- Maintain technical and operational documentation in Confluence.
- Use GitHub and Azure DevOps (ADO) for source control, pipelines, and collaboration.
- Collaborate within Agile delivery teams and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of strong experience in Production Support / DevOps roles within enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting Java applications, including troubleshooting and log analysis.
- Experience with Unix/Linux systems is a good-to-have.
- Experience supporting APIs and service-based architectures.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including: Kubernetes (AKS), Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Server, Azure Static Web Apps, Blob Storage.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with GitHub.
- Good understanding of DevOps practices and operational workflows.
- Experience with Monitoring and Observability tools, preferably Dynatrace.
- Experience with Snowflake is a good to have (available to upskill).
