About the role

• Student assistant in product management at Knauf Performance Materials in Dortmund. Supporting product tests and technical documentation with CAD and MS Office tools in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• You will assist in setting up and conducting tests for construction products (mechanical tests, fire tests, etc.)
• You will support the preparation of drawings and evaluation charts using CAD and MS Office tools to clearly present test results
• Your responsibilities include visualizing test procedures and work instructions
• You will work closely with production, the laboratory and the development department and regularly coordinate with team members across these functions
• You will gain valuable insights into product development and monitoring, and perform varied tasks in a hands-on environment

Requirements

• You are currently enrolled in a degree program such as Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field and intend to pursue a Master’s degree afterwards
• You have a strong technical understanding, ideally supported by completed technical vocational training
• With a quick grasp and a systematic working style, you learn new topics quickly and implement them in a structured and reliable way
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile and enable you to communicate confidently and precisely
