About the role
- Configuration Manager overseeing avionics systems for aerospace projects at K-tronik GmbH in Frankfurt. Responsible for configuration and data management throughout the product life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Management of configuration and data management across all phases of the product life cycle
- Configuration identification and planning, including mapping in ERP and PLM systems
- Configuration control and change management, as well as monitoring of configuration processes
- Support for customer reviews and audits
- Further development of configuration management processes
- Participation in the selection and integration of configuration and data management tools
- Preparation of training materials and delivery of training sessions
Requirements
- Completed degree (at least Bachelor's) in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 2 years' experience in configuration management, engineering, development, design, or product development
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Experience with ERP, PDM, or PLM systems, ideally SAP
- Good knowledge of process management
- Interest in process design and optimization
- Fluent in German and English
