About the role

Responsibilities
- Support the identification, evaluation and structuring of co-development and M&A projects for large-scale battery storage
- Participate in negotiations with project developers, investors and partners — from initial contact through to contract signing
- Conduct economic analyses and financial modelling to assess investment decisions
- Work closely with Delivery, Operations, Finance and Legal teams for a comprehensive project assessment
- Coordinate external consultants and law firms in due diligence and negotiation processes
- Prepare presentations, decision papers and business cases for management and investors
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Energy Economics, Finance, Law or a comparable field
- 3–5 years of professional experience in M&A, investment, corporate development or project development — ideally in the energy or infrastructure sector
- Good understanding of purchase/acquisition agreements, ownership structures and project financing
- Experience in financial modelling and project valuation is desirable
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, and a structured, analytical way of working
- Fluent German and very good English
