Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to the local government grant liaison team
Responsible for managing operational relationships with local government to ensure effective management of their grant portfolio.
Lead and manage as the single point of contact with local government to identify issues and provide resolution as it pertains to the management of grants, including performance and risk monitoring to support grant delivery.
Drive the local government grant liaison teams to work with dynamic resourcing
Foster agility to focus on emerging issues and patterns in grant performance, with targeted support as required for local government grant portfolios.
Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience
demonstrated experience at senior management level in a large complex organisation with proven success in the delivery of large and complex projects, on time and within budget, with excellent stakeholder management skills
Proven experience in working with local government to manage complex project risks and issues
Program management and project planning expertise in the transport industry
Knowledge of Government planning approval and statutory processes
Demonstrated experience in economic analysis and evaluation methods for asset management within an integrated total asset management context
Experience developing and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships to meet stakeholders' expectations
Comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where delivery on tight deadlines is critical.
Self-starter with strong relationship building, collaboration and communication skills to drive outcomes
