Responsibilities
- Take on responsibility for the Purchase Ledger, including: Receipt and inputting of all Purchase-related invoices
- Reconciliation of invoices to Purchase Orders
- Schedule and execute payment runs
- Supplier statement checks & reconciliations
- Keep accurate records of all PL invoices and actions taken in Xero
- Assist with preparation of VAT returns
- Accruals & Prepayments and adjustments
- Bank and PSP reconciliations
- Assist with preparation of documents for audits
Requirements
- Top grades in A-Levels (Accounting/Finance/Economics)
- Aspirations to be a Qualified Accountant (studying or wanting to study ACCA)
- 2+ years experience of working in finance & accounting
- 1+ year experience of working with Maltese VAT
- Significant experience of managing the Purchase Ledger
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Experience of using Navision is a strong asset
- Experience of working with atlassian technologies would be advantageous
