Account Manager for EDEKA expansion overseeing Mini-Key-Accounts and new customer acquisition. Join a dynamic team at Jean & Len GmbH in hybrid role based in Cologne.
Responsibilities
Support and development of smaller wholesale and regional customers (mini key accounts)
Proactive acquisition of new customers within the EDEKA structure, especially multi-branch companies we do not yet serve directly
Preparation and implementation of sales and listing measures (displays, shelving plans, secondary placements, promotions, range expansion)
Field work: You will regularly visit EDEKA stores (20–30% travel) and identify new revenue opportunities for us
Monitoring & reporting: keep an eye on uplifts, distribution, sell-through and key learnings
Requirements
Initial relevant sales experience (grocery retail / FMCG), e.g., in field sales, district or regional management, as a junior account manager, or in internal sales with ambition for field or key account roles
Good understanding of grocery retail structures, ideally from EDEKA or comparable retail companies (e.g., REWE, Markant)
Willingness to travel and a valid driving licence (Class B)
Strong communication skills and a confident presence
Hands-on, reliable, structured and able to persuade decision-makers pragmatically
Proficient in MS Office (especially Word and Excel) and able to organise yourself independently
