About the role
- IT Security Expert developing and maintaining a scalable hybrid multicloud network architecture across multiple European locations. Managing security and connectivity solutions in Azure and AWS environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, operation and further development of a hybrid multicloud network architecture (on-premises, data center, Azure, AWS)
- Administration, hardening and automation of the Fortinet stack (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP)
- Development and maintenance of Infrastructure-as-Code solutions with Terraform, including Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Design and stabilization of routing and connectivity solutions (OSPF, BGP)
- Implementation of security and governance requirements (firewall policies, micro-segmentation, ISMS/NIS2)
- Monitoring, analysis and long-term remediation of network incidents
- Implementation of cloud networking concepts in Azure (hub-and-spoke) and AWS
- Management of central core services such as DNS, as well as lifecycle and patch management
Requirements
- Several years of experience with the Fortinet network and security stack
- Strong knowledge of automation & IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Git, CI/CD)
- Excellent knowledge of Layer 3 networking (OSPF, BGP, VRRP, DHCP)
- Experience in cloud networking (Azure & AWS)
- Practical experience with Python and Bash
- Experience with VPN technologies (IPsec, OpenVPN, WireGuard)
