About the role

  • Sustainability Analyst focusing on energy management at Schneider Electric. Collaborating to support delivery of strategic sustainability goals for customer and partner solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Working with teams across the business to build the data library required to model, optimize, and communicate the environmental impacts of the systems Schneider and its partners sell and/or help to manage for customers, in alignment with internal and external standards.
  • Supporting expansion of current systems and solution modeling to cover additional customer segments, as part of customer, sales, and partner-facing tools – including project management, data collection and structuring, analysis, and identifying and solving for solutions as needed.
  • Supporting efforts to help turn this data into a compelling value proposition for customers and partners.
  • Supporting on other related needs as relevant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in environmental management, business, or engineering
  • Applied experience working on projects and with data across large organizations or systems
  • Passionate about environmental sustainability; subject-matter expertise on issues related to climate change, GHG emissions, circular economy, energy conservation, and renewable energy
  • Understanding of energy management and distribution technologies and solutions, associated energy conservation measures, and how to measure and improve their energy and environmental impacts
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to screen and quickly absorb information on various topics from multiple sources and synthesize it to make meaningful recommendations; resilient and solutions-oriented in the face of incomplete or inconsistent information.
  • Excited about working with numbers, building models and quantitative analyses, and setting clear and consistent methodologies
  • Able to translate and communicate effectively between expert and non-expert audiences
  • Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management and facilitation skills; able to set clear guidance and project plans, and effectively hold teams accountable to project deliverables, partnering to find solutions where needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Collaborative and a team player
  • Driven but balanced; thoughtful and passionate about success of the collective team
  • Open-minded, active listener, understands and values others' views
  • Ability to connect with people, build teams and networks, and communicate effectively with different stakeholders to bring alignment and support
  • Able to liaise effectively with counterparts from different parts of the organization, including senior colleagues

  • Driven self-starter with ability to execute in a fast-paced & constantly evolving global environment
  • Entrepreneurial, collaborative and open to travel as needed
  • Other: excellent MS PowerPoint and Excel skills; experience with systems modeling and design tools; experience in project management tools and programming a plus
