About the role
- Infrastructure-focused Senior TechOps Engineer at IntentHQ building next-gen data + AI platform. Integrate SDKs and ensure robust data pipelines for customer intent analytics.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement infrastructure running 24/7, supporting ingestion of data initially from an extremely successful privacy-focused mobile telemetry product
- Give input to the AI + Data software teams as they build out an ML system on top of the infrastructure
- Take part in building out an SRE culture across our Infrastructure teams and building systems that identify problems before they impact customers
- Have a plan for onboarding existing systems and customers onto the new system
- Be part of maturing Release and Deployment processes across the company
- Optimise the costs of running our infrastructure and how we can reuse as much as possible
- General operational support
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Software/Infrastructure engineering roles
- Experience with at least one of the major public clouds (We mostly use AWS)
- Awareness of how infrastructure + platform decisions impact downstream systems
- Hands on usage of Kubernetes + Containers + Terraform
- Hands-on experience with Kafka + Infrastructure Deployments
- Scripting/Software experience using Python
- Familiarity with Databricks
- Familiarity with Openshift
- Experience in an Infrastructure Team supporting high scale data/ML applications
